Helpful details before your tour

Signature Scheduled Tour questions.

What is the difference between the Explorer and Connoisseur tickets?

Explorer includes the Signature Scheduled Tour, transportation, three winery visits, your guide, and any route-specific partner perks. Tastings and other purchases are made separately. Connoisseur includes the same tour plus one pre-selected tasting or flight at each of the three wineries. Connoisseur tickets booked directly through Vineyard Voyages also include a complimentary stainless-steel tumbler.

Are lunch and tastings included?

One pre-selected tasting at each winery is included only with the Connoisseur ticket. Explorer guests purchase any tastings they want directly at the wineries. Lunch is always available to purchase at the second winery, but it is not included with either ticket.

What fees are added at checkout?

All tickets and optional items are assessed a 6% booking fee.

Can I book as a solo guest or as a couple?

Yes. The scheduled tour is designed for individual travelers, couples, friends, and smaller groups who want to join a shared wine-country experience.

Which wineries will we visit?

The booking calendar identifies the route planned for your date. Each scheduled route includes three winery partners. Winery substitutions may occasionally be necessary because of venue availability or operating changes.

Do all winery perks apply on every route?

No. Benefits and discounts vary by partner winery and route. Your guide will explain any available perks during the tour.

What happens if fewer than six people are booked?

Signature Scheduled Tours generally require at least six guests to operate. If a tour does not reach the minimum, affected guests may move their booking to another available date or apply the value of their tickets toward a private tour for an additional fee.

What is the cancellation policy?

All ticket sales are final. Optional trip protection may be added during checkout for $15 per person. The coverage and claim terms are provided during checkout.

What happens if I arrive late?

Please arrive early and be ready to board at the scheduled departure time. The vehicle can wait no more than five minutes before departing so the full tour remains on schedule.

Does the tour operate in bad weather?

Yes. Tours operate rain or shine. Partner wineries offer tasting rooms and indoor spaces that help guests remain comfortable when outdoor conditions are less favorable.

Can guests drink alcohol aboard the vehicle?

Alcohol is generally not permitted aboard the vehicle. There is plenty of wine to enjoy at the wineries, and keeping alcohol off the vehicle supports a safe, comfortable day for everyone.

Will the tour always use the 27-passenger bus?

The executive bus accommodates up to 27 passengers. When a scheduled tour has a smaller guest count, Vineyard Voyages may use a smaller vehicle with similar practical amenities.
