Scheduled tours

What is the difference between the Explorer and Connoisseur tickets?

Explorer lets you choose and purchase wine as you go. Connoisseur includes one pre-selected tasting or flight at each winery. Compare both tickets.

Where does a scheduled tour leave from?

West Falls Church Metro or Market Station in Leesburg. You return to the same point at the end of the day. See the routes.

Is there an age requirement?

Scheduled tours are 21 and over.

What is the cancellation policy on a scheduled ticket?

All sales are final. You can add Trip Protection for $15 at checkout. Dates can be changed within 48 hours of booking, and tickets can be transferred to someone else at any time.

Private tours

How much does a private wine tour cost?

The base price, from $150 per guest, covers dedicated transportation and your host. Tastings are purchased at each winery, or pre-arranged for $30 per guest per winery. A $500 non-refundable deposit secures the date and a $500 refundable security deposit is added to the final invoice. Private tour details.

Where can a private tour pick us up?

Anywhere in the DC metro area, including a home, hotel, office or Metro station, at no extra charge.

Can guests under 21 join a private tour?

Yes, when disclosed in advance, with a minimum age of 16. Guests under 21 are welcome at the wineries and for lunch but are not included in tastings.

How do we get a quote?

Share your group size, preferred date, and pickup area, and we will put together a tailored proposal within 24 hours. A $500 deposit secures your date, and the balance is not due until two weeks before your tour. Request a proposal or call or text 571-250-0827.

What is an international journey?

A hosted, small-group, multi-day wine journey through celebrated regions abroad, with the wine, local culture, and logistics arranged for you.

Where are you going next?

France in 2027, from $4,675 per person. A Portugal itinerary is published day by day, and a South America voyage is in development. See the voyages.

We operate rain or shine. All of our partner wineries have indoor tasting rooms.
